# Leinster Type

> Independent type foundry by Troy Leinster. Retail and custom typefaces for brand-forward designers. Founded 2022. Based between Brisbane, Australia and New York, USA.

Leinster Type publishes a small, considered library of retail fonts and takes commissions for custom typefaces. Troy Leinster is a former Hoefler&Co type designer and a Cooper Union (Type@Cooper) instructor, with a Master's degree in Type Design from KABK Type & Media in The Hague.

The foundry also runs Typemasters, a one-on-one and small-group type design coaching practice.
